Tuesday Night Top 5

Gustto hand bag. Looks vintage. Awesome color. Very simple. I want it.

Big fan of Gap. Big fan of this casual skirt.

Vince = $$$

I love everything about this outfit. The high-waisted, printed skirt paired with a black turtle neck and ankle boots. <3

I love the length and sleeves but I could do without the neck tie.

I want a fitted leather jacket in brown and black. I would take this Vince jacket in either color.

Tuesday Top 5

So here are a few pieces that I think would be a great addition to any collection, simple yet refined and adaptable to any style.
First up are blouses from Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen's line "Elizabeth and James" (affectionately named for their siblings).

I love blouses, and the color and style of this one is so attractive and interesting.
I was surprised by the Olsen's line because I expected the clothes to be somewhat comparable to their own, but instead they've created more mainstream pieces.

I have always been partial to accessorizing with fun yet personal jewelry pieces, particularly the snake rings I picked up during my travels to Montenegro and Egypt. I really like the brass and tough quality of this ring.

I don't normally shop at J. Crew because I find their clothes to be a little mature for my style right now, but they do make great basics. I was perusing their website recently and fell in love with this suitcase. It has a feeling of anachronism yet the modern convenience of a collapsible handle. It's kind of fun compared to your basic suitcase, but not crazy enough to be impractical.

Lastly, in my eyes Marc Jacobs can do no wrong and this great grey purse is a testament to that belief. It's durable and accessible, easy to carry around the city and lug anything -- in my case GRE books and notecards.

Happy Tuesday y'all.

Boots and Heels

Tory Burch.

Dolce and Gabbana Riding Boots. My favorite color combination: brown and black.

Finally Fall

Max Mara and Burberry. Colors and collar.

Wedge it out

Wedges have always been a favorite of mine; they give me the height I want without the pain and discomfort that usually comes with this style of shoe. Jeffrey Campbell creates the most interesting-looking heels that are still comfortable.

I love this pair too, also by Jeffrey Campbell. They're perfect to wear with jeans and head out in for the evening. Daring yet wearable.

Perhaps an even better pair of wedges with which to sashay your way into fall would be this pair by Belle. These are perfect for fall because they lack the carefree quality of summer pairs and provide full coverage for the cold weather ahead.
